Princess Kate Middleton could attend the Earthshot Prize ceremony in India
Princess Kate Middleton may soon prepare for another international trip after recently visiting Italy. Reports published on May 16, 2026, from the Mirror stated that the Princess of Wales could travel to Mumbai, India, in November 2026 to join Prince William at the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony. While the visit has not been officially announced, The Mirror suggested that planning is already taking place. It was claimed that the royal couple may visit Delhi during the trip, which some observers described as politically sensitive because of current regional issues and diplomatic discussions.

“The Prince and Princess of Wales stand ready to assist the country however they can. The plans are in the early stages, but it promises to be an amazing experience,” a royal source told The Mirror.
Prince William continues to expand the Earthshot Prize
The Earthshot Prize was created by Prince William to encourage environmental innovation and support initiatives fighting climate change. The 2026 event in Mumbai will mark the sixth annual ceremony of these awards. Organizers believe India is an important location because of its growing role in environmental development across Asia. Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton previously visited India and Bhutan in April 2016, where they traveled to cities including Mumbai and New Delhi while also visiting the Taj Mahal and Kaziranga National Park. Their previous visit ten years ago received strong public attention and helped strengthen connections between the United Kingdom and India.
