Prince William earns recognition through the Apple TV series
Prince William and Meghan Markle are both competing in this year’s Emmy Awards through different television projects. The Prince of Wales received recognition after appearing in The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy. The series helped Apple TV earn two Primetime Emmy nominations. The episode, titled Living the Royal Life in the U.K., features the Prince of Wales welcoming actor Eugene Levy to Windsor Castle for a tour and a conversation about the monarchy, family life and public service. During the interview, the Prince also spoke about the health journeys of Princess Kate Middleton and King Charles. 78th Primetime Emmy Awards are scheduled to take place on September 14, 2026.
“He was just very approachable, and I think maybe wanted to convey that this is who he is,” Levy said about the Prince of Wales. “And it was my sense that this is the beginning of possibly a different way to go for the monarchy. Different form of monarchy. Different from the past.”
Meghan’s Netflix series receives its first nomination
Meghan Markle is also celebrating award recognition after her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, earned its first Daytime Emmy nomination. Announced on July 15, 2026, the program is competing in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category. Meghan celebrated the recognition with a social media post thanking the production team for their work.
“A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on With Love, Meghan on @netflix,” the mother of two wrote.
The series follows the Duchess of Sussex as she shares her interests in cooking, gardening and entertaining, while welcoming celebrity guests including Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, Tan France, Jay Shetty and Roy Choi. Prince Harry and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, also makes brief appearances during the series. The winner of the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category is going to be unveiled at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on October 30, 2026.
