Through a recent post on their social networks, Kate Middleton and Prince William officially introduce the newest member of their family by revealing his name to their followers.

On May 1st, the royal couple updated their social networks to celebrate the first birthday of their new English cocker spaniel, sharing an official portrait of him accompanied by a sweet message in the caption:

“Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today.”

Previously, Kate Middleton revealed they kept one male puppy from their dog Orla‘s litter, the dog who has been part of the family since 2020, and this is how they finally introduced Otto to the British people as the new member of their family.

Days before, the two dogs made a special appearance in a new family portrait shared to celebrate the Prince and Princess of Wales’ 15th wedding anniversary, marking the puppy’s debut lying in the grass with the royals.
