Recent reports revealed what Kate Middleton and Prince William supposedly pay for their royal residence rent, exposing how much their “forever home,” Forest Lodge, costs.
On May 18th, The Times shared a new article exposing how much the royal couple pay in rent annually for their new home in Windsor since they moved there in fall 2025 and some details of their contract and plans for the future.

According to the British media, the documents filed on May 14 list both Kate Middleton and Prince William as the proprietors of the lease on Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park while paying $411,435 in rent annually.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ rent contract includes the main house plus two cottages on the grounds, which are used by staff, a property that is said to be their family’s forever home where they plan to stay even after they ascend to the throne one day.
