Rosé just added a new win to a huge solo year. “New Trick” has been voted the Best BLACKPINK Solo Comeback of 2026.

The competition asked fans to choose the member with the best comeback of the year. Four tracks competed: “Fallen Angel” by Jennie, “SaWaDiKa” by Lisa, “Click” by Jisoo and “New Trick” by Rosé. The final came down to Jisoo and Rosé, and Rosé came out on top.

Rosé released “New Trick” on September 18. It is an energetic garage-punk track about overcoming hardship and finding new ways to move forward. It is a big change from her more emotional solo material. She wrote it with Amy Allen and Andrew Wells during a hectic week in New York, two days after the Met Gala.

She said she had struggled to write sad songs lately and described the result as possibly the cutest thing they had ever made together. Allen co-wrote “APT.” with her, and Wells worked with her on “Stay a Little Longer,” so the creative team was already trusted. Wells also produced the track.

The visuals are part of why it went viral. The video was directed by Dave Meyers, whose credits include Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Ariana Grande, and it was made with Apple. It was shot entirely on the iPhone 18 Pro.

All four members have been busy in 2026. Jennie released her three-track digital EP “Fallen Angel” on August 28. The title track is a minimalist acoustic pop song. Lisa returned to her rap roots with “SaWaDiKa,” which takes its name from the Thai greeting for “hello.” It is the first look at her EP “Press Play,” out October 23. Jisoo and Rosé released “Click” and “New Trick” in September.

This competition was never about deciding who is better. It was a way for fans to pick their favorite comeback among four artists who each have their own sound. Thank you, BLINK, for voting and for supporting all four members.
