BLACKPINK’s Rosé has joined forces with Apple for a new music video release connected to the launch of the iPhone 18. The singer and songwriter released “New Trick” on September 18, 2026, with its accompanying music video filmed entirely with the iPhone 18 Pro as part of Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign. Rosé now joins artists such as Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, and The Weeknd, who have previously participated in the Apple campaign.

Sonically, “New Trick” draws on garage punk, blending the raw sound of garage rock with the fast energy of punk and a sprinkle of pop for the girls. The track’s lyrics focus on moving forward despite the hard times in relationships and daily life. Amy Allen, who previously co-produced Rosé’s global hit “APT.,” also worked on the track alongside Andrew Wells, who previously collaborated with the singer on “Stay a Little Longer,” a song from her debut album “Rosie.”

Meanwhile, the video follows Rosé through energetic, youthful scenes set against wide outdoor landscapes, giving the campaign a dynamic and outdoorsy feel. The release marks another major brand collaboration for Rosé as she continues developing her solo career alongside her activities as a member of BLACKPINK.
