During a recent interview, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé breaks silence on a controversial edited iPhone 18 Pro photo, explaining the truth behind this viral post, which generated much doubt.

On September 18th, Aple Music released a new episode with the K-Pop idol as their special guest, where their host, Zane Lowe, took the opportunity to ask her about her Apple ad, which gone viral due to photoshop allegations.

Prior to the release of the new iPhone 18, some famous artists, including Rosé, updated their Instagram with new selfies taken with the new phone in their Pro version, but the idol got special attention because it looked like the phone was actually added to the photo through an edition, and she didn’t physically have it.

After many online discussions and jokes, she finally addressed the topic, where she agreed with the comments, assuring, “I agree that it looks like Photoshop; even the original image looks photoshopped,” but she confirms that it is a real photo.

The BLACKPINK member shows the original photo and explains they have to do some changes in the photo to make it look perfect, like editing her “weird finger” and her own fingerprints from the phone to make it look cleaner.

“If you look closely, you can notice that they modified my finger because it looked weird; they even removed the fingerprints from my fingers on the iPhone to make it look cleaner.”
