In recent days, Prince Harry has been involved in various controversies that have put his safety and the privacy of himself and his family at risk. For this reason, he asked for help from the High Court of London to stay safe during his visit to the United Kingdom.

After an awards ceremony where Meghan Markle was honored for her contribution to the female community, her husband, Prince Harry, and her mother, Doria Ragland, found themselves involved in a near-catastrophic car chase where several paparazzi searched for more photos of the couple.

In addition to this dangerous event, the son of King Charles III will have to face a legal situation in his native country that could put his security at risk. For this reason, the Duke of Sussex requests that the United Kingdom judicial system pay for his police protection now that he no longer belongs to the British royal.

However, this Tuesday, May 23rd, the higher court ruled that the Prince will not be able to obtain this police protection by saying that “it is inappropriate that the wealthiest people can somehow buy his own security to police officers, in circumstances where the public interest does not justify the individual enjoying this protective security with public funds“, even if he is going to pay for this.

Now that his request has been denied for the second time, it will be Prince Harry’s lawyers who are in charge of obtaining some type of protection for the safety of the former member of the British Crown, who must go to the United Kingdom soon to testify in his trial for piracy phone call against Mirror Newspaper Group.
