BLACKPINK’s Lisa goes full action hero. Lisa released her EP “Press Play”, the project was made with a movie in mind, so fans can sit down and press play. The tracklist is “SaWaDiKa,” “V12,” “Cobra,” “Tarantino,” “Cut U Off” and “Sweat.”

The focus track, “Tarantino,” comes with a video in which Lisa fights her way through a hotel to deliver a note to her favorite director, Quentin Tarantino. The concept suits her well, since it lets her turn her dance skills into fight choreography.

The numbers behind “SaWaDiKa.” The EP includes the lead single “SaWaDiKa,” which is already one of the biggest moments of her solo career. The title is a Thai greeting meaning hello, and the video was filmed in Bangkok. It drew 70.8 million views in 24 hours, the most for any music video in 2026 so far, surpassing BTS‘ “SWIM.”

It debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100, entered the Global 200 at No. 23, and became the first K-pop music video of 2026 to hit 200 million views. She also performed the song on TV for the first time at the MTV VMAs, where she won Best Pop for “Dream.”

In November, Lisa begins her “VIVA LA LISA” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, becoming the first K-pop artist to hold a Las Vegas residency. The first four shows sold out in under 10 minutes, so two more were added for a total of six. Her documentary “Always Lalisa” opened in cinemas worldwide on October 12, after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Jisoo gets “Addicted.”

“Click,” the first single from the album, came out in September. It topped iTunes songs charts in nine regions and debuted at No. 186 on Spotify’s daily chart. This time, the agency promises a sharp stylistic pivot toward a darker, more complex aesthetic. The album’s title and release date haven’t been announced yet.

A busy season for BLINKs. One member is getting her moment with a video like an action movie, a Vegas residency and another is entering a darker era. It’s a strong run for the group’s solo projects.
