The Duchess of Sussex posted two pictures of her daughter, describing her as a “dream girl.” One photo showed Prince Harry holding Lilibet while Meghan smiled beside them. Another image captured the birthday girl walking barefoot through a garden while reaching toward a flower.

But there was a small fashion detail that stole the show. In the photos, the young royal wore a gold bracelet on her wrist that closely recalled Meghan Markle’s popular Cartier LOVE bracelet. Meghan has worn the accessory for years and previously described it as one of her most treasured possessions. In a 2015 interview, before she met Prince Harry, the then-actress revealed that she purchased the bracelet to celebrate the success of her television series “Suits” and planned to pass it down to a future daughter one day. “That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them,” she said around a decade ago.
The birthday pictures also showed the close bond within the Sussex family. Meghan and Harry welcomed their daughter in June 2021 after moving to California following their decision to step back from the British monarchy in January 2020. Despite their distance, Lilibet was named after Queen Elizabeth II, whose childhood nickname was also Lilibet. As she turned five, the new photos are a reminder of Princess Lilibet’s connection to her mom in California and the royal family in England.
