Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made an important appearance in Canada on August 7, 2026, to support music producer David Foster and his foundation. The pair attended an event marking 40 years of fundraising by the David Foster Foundation. The event was celebrated with major musical acts throughout the weekend, with performances from Josh Groban, CeeLo Green, Loren Allred, Divine Brown, Chad Kroeger and Adam Levine.

During the event, the Duchess of Sussex was seen dancing as the artist performed. In addition, the mother of two and the Maroon 5 frontman are known for their charity efforts in Los Angeles. Levine helped Meghan contact Billie Eilish as she arranged a special surprise for a teenager who was affected by the California wildfires in 2025. The moment took place after Meghan and Prince Harry visited Altadena, California, and met people who had been the fires.

“[The girl’s] mom shared something with me…that all she’d been looking for in her home was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to,” Meghan revealed on social media. “And, of course, they now see their home and the washing machine, their dryer, are ash. They’re not there anymore.”

Meghan said she did not personally know the “What Was I Made For?” hitmaker, but got some help. The singer responded by sending an entire box of gifts for the young fan. “You guys, I don’t even know what all this stuff means, but it’s signed for her,” Meghan said as she revealed the merchandise on video.
