The agency behind BTS, HYBE, is getting millions of critics from fans of the K-Pop boy group as the K-Drama titled ‘Begins Youth‘ based on the members lives is not being broadcast as many would like. On the contrary, instead of developing a series that entertains fans, it was made only to get the greatest possible monetary benefit, according to ARMYs.

The K-Drama, which premiered in April 2023, has not received acceptance from K-Pop fans despite being played by great actors and telling a moving story. The reasons behind the rejection this production is receiving are several.

In the first place, the excitement for the long-awaited film was wasted, as after its release, it was not possible to watch it on popular streaming platforms such as Disney or Netflix but only through Xclusive. Also, for every episode to be watched, the viewers have to pay an amount of almost $10 individually and in promotion, which would mean that for watching it in its entirety, it would have a price of approximately $120.

For this reason, ARMYs are very disappointed that HYBE is realizing this production this way, as it seems that this series is not for entertainment, but to become a lucrative system since many state that ‘Begins Youth’ is a NFT K-Drama. Therefore, many are watching it through social networks such as TikTok, even if they have to watch “in 5000 parts“, as one user stated.
