Weverse magazine has caused controversy in recent days due to a new article where it implicitly attacks Jimin and Suga, two of the members of the famous K-Pop group BTS. After this scandal, ARMY has not been able to avoid criticizing their words on social media.

Weverse is a well-known social networking platform as well as a South Korean magazine created and launched in 2019 by HYBE, the company behind BTS, and which has emerged thanks to the growth in popularity of K-Pop worldwide, however, now it is embroiled in a great controversy.

On May 25th, Weverse Magazine posted an article about the singer Morgan Wallen that caused discontent among the followers of the page because the publication about the country musician was not related to the K-Pop industry. In addition, the writing implicitly lashed out at the two artists.

In the article, the magazine recognized the great success of the American while minimizing the successes of the members of BTS and other HYBE artists, saying that they have only had ‘partial success‘ and that despite their careers they have not been able to achieve the same that Wallen has achieved.

Shortly after the publication, the networks were filled with criticism from K-Pop fans towards the magazine that belongs to HYBE for its harsh words to its artists who had worked hard for their great achievements.
