In recent reports, it was announced BTS‘ RM made a 100 million won donation to the National Museum of Korea to support its growth and value as a cultural center.
On September 30th, the museum revealed the K-Pop idol made this meaningful donation of 100 million won, or $73,700, through a nonprofit organization requesting that the funds be used to acquire pieces for the museum collection.
“I’m happy to be able to support the museum as its global ambassador. I will continue to work together to promote the museum and our culture,” RM said.
Previously, in June this year, the rapper was named the first museum’s global ambassador since its founding, which shows once again his passion for art supporting Korean art and cultural heritage.
