BTS’ Jungkook has reached another streaming milestone with “Standing Next to You.” The track has surpassed 500 million plays on YouTube Music, making it another Internet hit. The BTS member now has four songs that have crossed the 500 million mark on the music platform, including previous hits like “Seven” featuring Latto, “3D” featuring Jack Harlow, and “Left and Right,” his collaboration with Charlie Puth.
“Standing Next to You” was released as a single from Jungkook’s debut solo album, Golden, and it blends retro funk influences with a current dance-pop sound. The song debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. It also reached #6 on the UK Official Singles Chart, while its Spotify total has climbed to 1.5 billion streams.
The latest YouTube Music milestone adds to the song’s long-standing success nearly three years after its initial release, confirming the track’s staying power. Meanwhile, Jungkook recently returned to South Korea after joining BTS for the group’s performance at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. The festival appearance marked BTS’ first participation in the event in six years, with the seven members performing four songs during their return to the event. The group is now taking a break after touring North America with the ARIRANG World Tour, and will resume live performances on October 2, 2026, in Bogota.
