The Korean drama Teach You A Lesson has become one of Netflix‘s biggest international hits of 2026. Since premiering on June 5, 2026, the Korean show has remained at the top of the Global Non-English TV chart for three consecutive weeks. According to Netflix, the drama recorded 11.8 million views and 126.2 million viewing hours during the latest tracking period. Over its first three weeks of release, the series accumulated 39.3 million views, making it one of the platform’s most successful Korean productions. The action drama stars Kim Mu Yeol, Lee Sung Min, Jin Ki Joo, and Pyo Ji Hoon and is based on the webtoon Get Schooled.

The story follows the fictional Educational Rights Protection Bureau, a government organization created to investigate serious problems in schools through unconventional methods. Led by Na Hwa Jin, the bureau focuses on investigating cases of bullying, abuse of authority, and failures within the education system. The show has attracted viewers thanks to its combination of fast-paced action and social issues affecting students, teachers, and families. In addition, several episodes have also generated discussions online because of their focus on school safety and mental health.

The drama has reached the number one position in 19 countries and regions, including South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Peru, while remaining in the top 10 in 66 additional regions. Industry reports suggest it is now the sixth most-watched Korean series in Netflix history, behind the Squid Game seasons, All of Us Are Dead, and The Glory.
