The picture showed a season record of 44 wins and 28 losses, which marked an important winning percentage.
The post was first shared in June 2026 and later regained traction online after he used that same photo to announce BTS’ decision not to submit the ARIRANG album for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards in July 2029. All members of the group took to social media, expressing that they would refrain from supporting the ceremony following the creation of the “Best Asian Pop Music Performance” category. Some fans and critics noted that it segregates Asian artists, keeping them away from the general field awards, such as Album of the Year, Song of the Year, or Record of the Year.
The seven-member team shared an identical statement on their individual Instagram profiles, explaining the reasons behind their choice not to submit their music for the 2027 Grammy Awards. In addition, the “Rainy Days” singer accompanied his Instagram Story announcement with a picture of the League of Legends Diamond 2 rank he had achieved earlier this year. The post said:
