NMIXX will officially enter the Japanese music market with the release of their debut best album in the country, N-EQULMIX, on December 9, 2026. The 12-track project will include a Japanese version of “Blue Valentine” along with several previously released songs. This compilation project will introduce Japanese listeners to the girl group’s musical history while presenting new material. In addition, it will highlight NMIXX’s Mix Pop style, which combines different genres and sound switch-ups within the same song.

Since releasing its first single, Ad Mare, NMIXX has developed a reputation for their vocal prowess and experimental production. The six-member team continued building that identity through projects such as FIVE/FORWARD, Blue Valentine, and Heavy Serenade. Their fourth mini-album, Fe3O4: FORWARD, and first full-length album, Blue Valentine, received positive attention from international publications, including NME, Dazed, and Teen Vogue. Meanwhile, the fifth mini-album, Heavy Serenade, was released in May 2026 and ranked third on Billboard’s list of the best K-pop albums from the first half of 2026. Similarly, the project’s first single “Crescendo” ranked fifth on the related songs list.
Before the Japanese album release, NMIXX will perform solo concerts at Tokyo Keio Arena on August 8 and August 9, 2026. The girl group also began their first world tour, Episode 1: Zero Frontier, at Incheon Inspire Arena in November 2025. The Japanese album and upcoming concerts mark another step in the group’s international crossover, adding to their existing fanbase in South Korea, North America and South America.
