It was revealed in recent reports that Netflix renewed the series ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call‘ for seasons 2 and 3 after its incredible success on the streaming platform.

According to a MyDaily report on June 22nd, this 2025 medical drama is preparing for two new seasons, with the production team developing both installments simultaneously with the scripts for the first four episodes of the second season already completed.

This series follows an extraordinary surgeon who is hired to lead the trauma center and his team of rookies at a financially struggling hospital, showcasing his unorthodox talent for saving lives and challenging bureaucracy.

The next installments are expected to feature the original cast that includes actors Ju Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Ha Young, and Yoon Kyung Ho, while new reports reveal that new characters will be introduced throughout the next seasons.

Although Netflix has not confirmed it, an executive reported that “We are positively discussing the production of a follow-up to The Trauma Code, but nothing has been finalized,” referring to the extensive potential of this story inspired by the webtoon of the same name.
