BTS returned to the top ten of Billboard charts after releasing a new vinyl edition of ARIRANG. On the charts dated August 1, 2026, the project climbed up from #26 to #9 on the Billboard 200. The album also ranked up from #19 to #2 on Vinyl Albums and #12 to #3 on Top Album Sales. Originally, ARIRANG debuted atop all three charts dated April 4, 2026, during its first week of release.
During the tracking week ending July 23, 2026, ARIRANG earned 40,000 equivalent album units in the United States, according to Luminate. That was a weekly increase of 62%. Meanwhile, vinyl sales reached about 12,500 copies, rising 398% compared with the previous week. The boost was largely due to a new picture disc vinyl version released on July 17, 2026. The album includes two bonus songs and collectibles, including a set of eight Polaroid-style cards.

In addition, promotions and the music video for the single “Normal,” as well as BTS’ performance during the FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19, 2026, supported the album. The seven-member team performed “Dynamite,” their hit single from 2020. The mix of global exposure on TV, a new single, and a special collective vinyl helped ARIRANG boost its chart position several months after its original release.
