BTS’ “ARIRANG” tour earns #2 spot on Billboard’s Top Tours chart

The group generated more than $102.5 million from eight shows in July

BTS earned more than $102.5 million from their ongoing “ARIRANG” world tour in July, placing the group at #2 on Billboard’s Top Tours chart. The seven-member team performed eight shows during the month of July and attracted around 582,000 concertgoers. Meanwhile, The Weeknd took the top spot after grossing approximately $124 million from 16 shows during the same period thanks to his “After Hours till Dawn” Tour.

According to Billboard, BTS became the third act to report more than $100 million in tour revenue in multiple months, following Beyoncé and Bad Bunny. The KPop stars had previously topped Billboard’s monthly touring revenue chart in April and May thanks to their tour. By early August, the “ARIRANG” global run had generated approximately $433.2 million and sold more than 2.3 million tickets.

BTS is continuing the tour with four concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The shows are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday on September 1, 2, 5, and 6, marking the final dates of the group’s second United States leg. The strong ticket sales and continued fan demand have made “ARIRANG” one of the year’s biggest global concert tours.
