Prince Harry is preparing for a visit to the United Kingdom that will include charity engagements and possibly a family reunion, although it is not yet clear whether he will travel with his wife, Meghan Markle, and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Reports made by PEOPLE and Hello! suggest the Duke of Sussex may come to Britain alone or with members of his family, but no confirmation has been given.
During the trip, the Duke of Sussex is expected to attend Scotty’s Summer Festival at Maxstoke Castle in Warwickshire, where he will meet children and families supported by Scotty’s Little Soldiers. The charity helps bereaved military children and has long been one of the Prince’s most important causes. His visit will also serve to mark the countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, which will begin on July 10, 2027. The event will showcase the classic and new adaptive sports being planned. The games were first held in 2014, and since then, they have become an initiative to honor and spotlight wounded, injured, and sick military service personnel and what they can achieve post-injury.
Prince Harry is expected to support military families
The Scotty’s Summer Festival brings together children who have lost a parent while serving in the armed forces. Prince Harry’s appearance would reflect his continued commitment to military causes and to organizations that support veterans and their families. Even after stepping back from royal duties, the father of two has remained closely involved with projects connected to the armed forces.

Reports also suggest that Prince Harry could meet King Charles during the visit. The father and son were last seen together in September 2025, when they reportedly spent about 50 minutes sharing a private tea. Even though no official plans regarding Prince Harry and his family visiting Britain have been confirmed, reports from media outlets say another meeting could happen while the Prince is in the region. It has also been reported that King Charles offered accommodation for his estranged son and his family, but no response has been announced officially.
