Meghan Markle reveals how she sets the mood
Meghan Markle has shared a new glimpse into her private life with Prince Harry while promoting new products from her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The Duchess of Sussex posted a photo on Instagram showing herself in a white button-up shirt, jeans, and a black necktie on June 1st, 2026. Alongside the image, the mother of two offered advice on welcoming guests and explained one of her favorite hosting habits. The Duchess revealed she likes to light candles before visitors arrive so the room feels warm and inviting from the moment they enter the door. In addition, Meghan also recommended placing candles at different heights and choosing subtle scents that blend naturally into the space.
“Light candles before guests arrive so the room already feels warm when everyone walks through the door. Place them at different heights and keep the scent subtle so it blends naturally into the room,” she said.

New products expand the As Ever collection
The latest additions to the As Ever collection include signature candles and decorative matchboxes. Two of the candle scents were inspired by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who will celebrate her fifth birthday on June 4th, 2026. Additionally, individual candles are available for $64, while a set featuring two candles and a box of matches is priced at $128. The launch comes during a period of change for Meghan Markle’s company. In March, it was announced that As Ever would continue independently after ending its business partnership with Netflix.
Meghan continues building her brand
In March 2026, Meghan confirmed that her lifestyle company was ready to operate on its own after receiving support from Netflix during its debut period. The streaming company had previously invested in the brand while offering more visibility through Meghan’s lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lived in California since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, where they continue raising their children while pursuing independent projects and business ventures.
