King Charles III has become the talk of the town aside from his celebrations of the Trooping the Colour parade. This time, the King is highlighted for his absence from a major royal funeral.

Lady Pamela Hicks, a longtime figure within royal circles and former lady-in-waiting to the late Queen Elizabeth II, was laid to rest on Saturday. Hicks had a private funeral service at St Bartholomew’s Church, held nine days after her death on June 5 at the age of 97.}

Despite Lady Pamela, the cousin of Prince Philip, having spent decades closely connected to the British Royal family, and being regarded as one of the last living links to a remarkable era of royal history, she was paid dust by the family itself.

Everyone noted the absence of the senior royals, including King Charles III, Queen Camilla Parker, and Kate Middleton. For obvious reasons, the absence was explained due to a scheduling conflict with Trooping the Colour, one of the Royal Family’s most important annual public engagements. However, the royal followers have pointed out disrespect from the Royal Family.
