Jeon Somi and Stay Kids’ Bang Chan’s friendship has been evident over the years, she even calls him her best friend and it shows after she revealed a relatable but fitting nickname for the idol. The South Korean-Canadian singer made an Instagram Live to reveal information about upcoming projects and even said some things about Bang Chan.
And that’s of course one of the best parts of her livestream! Although the pair are from different companies, they both know each other since Somi was a JYP Entertainment trainee. She also confessed their friendship has lasted over 8 years now.
Jeon Somi explained she used to call Bang Chan, Banchan, which means side dishes that you would eat with a meal. The name is almost identical to the idol’s stage name, that’s why Somi teased him. However, this is no news for the Stray Kids fandom who used to call him like that as well.
