A teenage fan died following a medical emergency before a Stray Kids concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the group began their first two-night run in the country. According to La Nación, a preliminary autopsy indicated that the death appeared to have resulted from nontraumatic heart failure and was likely natural. Additional forensic samples were collected, and authorities are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the concertgoer’s death.
Concert promoter DF Entertainment expressed its condolences to the family and said it was cooperating with authorities. In addition, local authorities said that the event had the medical and emergency resources required for a large-scale concert, including ambulances, first responders, Red Cross personnel, hydration stations and a health plan approved by municipal health authorities. Municipal officials said the emergency measures had been inspected to confirm that they were properly established and operational.
