Paris Fashion Week is supposed to be about glamour, but for BLACKPINK’s Rosé, it turned into controversy. On Sunday, the K-pop princess sat front row at Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2026 show beside Hailey Bieber, Zoë Kravitz, and Charli XCX. But this star-studded moment suddenly turned sour on the Internet. The reason? Clips showing Rosé excluded from a conversation that the other three women were having. One viral shot even showed Charli XCX turning her back on her.

The footage went wild online, and Charli’s Instagram quickly filled with comments calling her disrespectful and even racist. Others dragged the “Apple” singer for overshadowing Rosé in a group photo she uploaded, where the K-pop star was the only one blurred in the shadows. With the BLINKs and Number Ones on Rose’s side, the fan backlash quickly began. 
The timing made it worse: just weeks ago, Charli XCX headlined a festival in Seoul, with Rosé openly supporting her by attending her New York concert and joining Charli’s “Apple” dance TikTok challenge. Most recently, Charli XCX was involved in another controversy, after being dissed by Taylor Swift on the recent song “Actually Romantic,” making this the second pop girl controversy for the British singer in less than a week.
