A few hours ago, BTS‘ Jungkook‘s individual interview for Rolling Stone was released, where the idol shares his own thoughts and even opens up about his ability to write songs and share his stories.
Amid ‘ARIRANG‘ promotions, the boys gave individual interviews to the magazine where they shared their personal experiences, talked about their solo careers, upcoming projects with the group, and more deep topics.
During Jungkook’s talk, the interviewer reminded him of his successful solo album ‘GOLDEN,’ and the only criticism comes from the fact that the fans would like him to write more songs and finally asked him if he knew that and what he made of that idea.
The idol started saying that it “just happened to be my choice at the time” but expressed his intentions to please fans with more songs written by him soon if that’s what they want. “I could write more for my next album if that’s what ARMYS want.”
He also explained the reason behind this decision: “But back then I wanted something else. I wanted to get good songs and release an album as soon as I could,” despite this hurry amid his military enlistment, this album was a big hit.
“That’s the whole reason. I also think the kinds of stories I can tell are pretty limited. I said in an interview somewhere that I’d rather make up stories to tell, but I have an S in my MBTI profile. So gosh, that was hard, so in the future, once I have a lot to do and a lot to say, I think it will happen naturally.”
Jungkook says that he might never write songs about his own experiences
The interviewer said that fans want him to share personal stories with them and asked, “But you’re saying you don’t have anything right now for them, on that front?” He answered and revealed why he found it hard to write songs from his experiences.
“Actually, I might never have anything. Because I don’t keep memories in my brain for a long time. I forget things a lot, so … you know how computers have hard drives? I don’t think I have a lot of disk space.”
