Big Hit Music has issued a warning after several incidents involving the privacy and safety of the CORTIS members. On June 30, 2026, the company announced on its fan platform that it had filed lawsuits against people who edited artists’ photos and shared them online with malicious intent. The agency also asked fans to avoid collecting and exchanging the members’ personal information. According to the statement, legal action has already been taken against an online account that shared details about the boy band’s flight schedules, sparking concerns about the members’ safety during their trips.
The agency also unveiled more serious cases of invasive behavior. According to Big Hit Music, some obsessive fans secretly placed GPS-tracking devices on the boy group’s vehicle and followed the members while they were visiting Paris. The company described these actions as serious violations of the members’ privacy and warned that it would continue pursuing legal action against individuals who put CORTIS’ safety at risk. It also emphasized that respectful support from fans should never cross personal boundaries.
CORTIS has had a successful start to their career since debuting in August 2025. The 5-member team has released two mini-albums. “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” and “GREENGREEN,” selling more than 1 million and 2.5 million copies, respectively. The “Blue Lips” singers have also accumulated more than 800 million streams on Spotify and will be beginning their “Put Your Phone Down Tour” on July 18, 2026.
