The problems between King Charles III of the United Kingdom, his eldest son and heir to the throne Prince William, and his youngest son Prince Harry, could now become even more acute. The monarch and the British royals are quite furious about the possible scenario that Meghan Markle‘s husband would be taking in his legal suit against several newspapers in his country.
Yesterday, it was announced that the High Court of the City of London dismissed some statements that Prince Harry had made in court. One of them, in which he said that the publisher of The Sun newspaper had allegedly reached an agreement with Buckingham Palace.
Judge Timothy Fancourt was the one who took it upon himself to dismiss Harry’s claim of a “secret agreement” between Buckingham Palace and the aforementioned media outlets.
But now, a source close to the royals mentioned to the Daily Beast that the monarch is displeased with the amount of information the Duke of Sussex has divulged to the court. Moreover, he is concerned about how willing he might be to keep divulging more secrets.
“Everyone in the royal family recognizes that Harry is a private citizen and can do what he wants without referring to the family, but that doesn’t mean they have to like it. Of course, they are hugely irritated by the prospect of more lawsuits from Harry, but they have been expecting it; there’s also the libel case against the Daily Mail, don’t forget“.
