BTS’ Jungkook birthday has once again inspired charitable projects from fans around the world! The KPop star, who was born on September 1, 1997, had fans celebrating by giving back. In South Korea, the fan club Jungkook Supporters announced plans to donate 200 English-language children’s books to public libraries, children’s libraries, and elementary schools throughout Busan, the BTS member’s hometown. The books, titled Featuring Jungkook: Facts, Quizzes, Activities, and More! will be distributed across the city’s 16 districts and counties.
Similarly, International fan communities organized donations for children and families affected by flooding in Nepal, including contributions through UNICEF for shelters, clean water, and hygiene supplies. Fans in Nigeria and Indonesia supported children through gifts, food, and donations at an orphanage in Port Harcourt, while Indian fan communities contributed to children’s education, medical care, and access to necessities. South Korean fans also donated menstrual products for teenagers through G Foundation and contributed to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital.

The birthday projects extended beyond children’s causes. More fans supported abandoned and stray animals in countries including India, Mexico, Peru, Hungary, and several Latin American territories. Other initiatives prioritized wildlife conservation and marine ecosystems, including World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) donations.
