In recent reports, it was revealed that Meghan Markle is in talks to make her acting comeback after nearly a decade of hiatus in the Netflix series ‘The Gentlemen.’
According to PEOPLE, the Duchess of Sussex is being eyed to appear in Guy Ritchie-created drama, while Deadline reports the talks are in “very early stages,” and The Hollywood Reporter says that the role “is currently being written, so it’s unclear how many episodes she would appear in.”
This news comes amid the announcement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s move to the United Kingdom and could mean the American’s first return to acting after her famous role in the series ‘Suits.’
‘The Gentlemen’ is a Netflix original series that follows Eddie Horniman, a British aristocrat who inherits his father’s dukedom and unexpectedly finds himself involved in a huge drug trafficking business.
Although the second season of this action and comedy series is scheduled to premiere on September 3rd, sources have revealed to PEOPLE that the third installment will be confirmed soon.
