Through a recent update, BTS announced additional dates for their ‘ARIRANG‘ world tour in the Asian phase, reaching a new meaningful milestone for K-pop history.

On June 8th, BigHit Music shared via the Weverse platform a notice announcing that “Thanks to the support of ARMY, we are holding one additional show in each city: JAKARTA & BULACAN for ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’.”

The additional date for Jakarta, Indonesia, is Tuesday, December 29, 2026, joining the concert series set for the city on December 26 and 27. For Bulacan, Philippines, the new concert will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2027, joining the previously announced March 13 and 14 shows.

Although these additional dates don’t seem enough to make a huge difference, it is a strategic move that elevates BTS to a total of 88 concerts across 23 cities around the world, with new concerts at two Asian stadiums with gigantic capacities.

In addition to the sold-out concerts in America and Europe, this new milestone turns the ‘ARIRANG’ world tour into the largest and most attended in K-pop history, surpassing his biggest competitors BLACKPINK’s ‘Born Pink World Tour’ and Stray Kids’ ‘dominATE’.
