BTS has topped the Billboard Japan mid-year album sales chart

BTS has had such a great run on the different Billboard charts with their album, “ARIRANG,” and their title track, “SWIM.” The idols have conquered tens of international markets with their musical project, including the Japanese ones.

On June 7, Billboard announced its Billboard Japan 2026 mid-year ‘Top Album Sales’ chart. Many fans noticed that BTS’ fifth full studio album, “ARIRANG,” ranked No. 1 with 706,961 copies sold.

Ultimately, the album also topped d Billboard Japan’s comprehensive mid-year album chart, “Hot Albums.” On Billboard Japan’s mid-year ‘Hot 100’ chart, the album’s title track, “SWIM,” and B-side track, “2.0,” entered at No. 38 and No. 87, respectively.

BTS has proved their powerful influence in the Japanese market, which was surely boosted by “ARIRANG WORLD TOUR.” Congratulations to BTS on this amazing achievement despite being in the Kpop scene for more than a decade now! Get ready to celebrate the idols’ 13th anniversary on June 13!
