The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards are officially a K-pop party, and BLACKPINK’s Rosé is one of the guests of honor. With eight nominations under her belt, she ties with Sabrina Carpenter as the second most-nominated female artist this year, only behind Lady Gaga, who snatched twelve nods. And that is not all! Every single BLACKPINK member received a nomination this year, with each of them being honored in the Best K-pop category.

Topping things off, the “Toxic Till The End” singer just broke BTS’ record by becoming the most-nominated K-pop act in the history of the show. In addition, Rosé’s hit collab with Bruno Mars, “Apt.,” appears in several top categories, proving just how successful this bop has been throughout 2024 and 2025. Meanwhile, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa are battling it out with Rosé for Best K-pop alongside fellow idols like Jimin, aespa, and Stray Kids.
