This achievement is significant because Heated Rivalry became the first television series soundtrack to debut inside the Billboard 200 top 10 in more than ten years. The last soundtrack to obtain a similar chart run was Empire in 2015. Meanwhile, the show’s album includes popular songs featured throughout the series along with composer Peter Peter’s original score. Fans who purchased the physical editions also received collectible items, including posters, liner notes, and trading cards with the vinyl edition. In addition, the vinyl release alone sold 28,000 copies during its opening week, making it the biggest week for a soundtrack on vinyl in 2026.
