During MAMAMOO‘s recent reunion on YouTube channel Zzanbro, Hwasa and Wheein reveal they once had a serious fistfight, shocking fans with unexpected details of the beginning of their relationship.
On June 8th, the girls reunite for an interview titled ‘MAMAMOO Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, Hwasa [Jjanhan Hyung EP.148] 🐶 The Beagle Idols MAMAMOO are back 🤟 Let’s go for endless MAMA shots 🍺’ where they talk and drink together with the hosts.
Amid their talk, Hwasa and Wheein recalled when they first met in middle school, revealing that they were very different, but they quickly became close and found many things in common, joining purposefully the same art school.
However, while working together to pursue their dreams of becoming singers, they had disagreements and conflicts like any friendship. Hwasa even confessed, “We had a fist fight once,” and added, “It was not a small quarrel but a serious fight.”
Wheein continued revealing they were drunk and “very emotional” while hugging each other and making a scene and explained she didn’t remember why they fought but then said, “We punched, hit, and kicked each other.”
While the rest of the members and host were shocked by this revelation, the singer concluded that “After that incident, we were awkward for over a week,” but fortunately, they reconciled and continue keeping a good friendship till now.
