Although the song will arrive on streaming services from Friday, June 12th, the music video was pre-released on YouTube to please all fans who were excited for this new project, which reunites the three biggest girl groups of HYBE.
The music video for ‘ICONIC BY MISTAKE,’ directed by Cody Critcheloe, is a visually intense, chaotic, and dark production in which each group inhabits a different universe but with the same disturbing and somber aesthetic.
Furthermore, the lyrics are a response to online harassment, and the music video symbolizes this with elements such as skulls, bones, a grillz with the word “ICONIC,” a trickle of blood running down the singer’s nose, dense clouds, and white bird feathers flying chaotically.
