KATSEYE’s Megan has given fans an update on her ankle injury after the group was forced to cancel their set at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival on August 29, 2026. During a Weverse livestream on September 1, 2026, Megan talked to fans alongside Yoonchae and Lara from a hotel room and showed photos of her injured ankle. The artist revealed that the swelling had been severe shortly after she had the injury. “Should I show how swollen my ankle is?” she said during the live.

Megan said her ankle had been “the size of a tennis ball” and displayed photos from her phone, showing off her bruised and noticeably larger ankle. She explained that her ankle had turned purple but has since returned to its normal color. However, Megan said it remains slightly swollen as she continues to recover from the sprain.

KATSEYE was originally scheduled to perform at Daisy Chain Fields on August 29 in Irvine, California, but withdrew from the lineup after Megan injured herself during tour rehearsals. The artist then took to her own social media accounts to publicly address the withdrawal, saying:

“I sprained my ankle during tour rehearsal and my doctors have advised me to stay off it and let it heal so I can be ready for tour. I’m heartbroken to miss Daisy Chain Fields, especially because of everything this festival stands for,” she shared on social media. “I’m sending all my love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organizations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special.”

Megan, Yoonchae and Lara later made a brief appearance at the festival to talk to fans and introduce Baby2Baby, one of the charities supported by the event. Despite that cancelation, KATSEYE has now started their Wildworld Tour, which began in Dublin on September 1. The group is currently performing as a quartet, since Manon and Sophia remain on hiatus from group activities.
