King Charles III is officially marking the 300th anniversary of Guy’s Hospital with a special visit to its cancer center today. The King, who was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer in February 2024, has gotten closer to the oncologic patients who are currently battling their disease in the United Kingdom.

Buckingham Palace reported that the King will meet with “chemotherapy patients, doctors and nurses, tour the state-of-the-art Innovation Hub, and unveil a plaque marking the 300th anniversary of Guy’s Hospital” during his visit.

There’s still a lot of speculation about whether the King will discuss his own health status during the meeting with the oncologic patients and healthcare professionals. Last March, the King revealed he is still in his cancer treatment while asking those who were undergoing treatment if they were managing to “survive the side effects alright.”

This is another great chance for King Charles III to prove to the whole world he is doing fine while battling cancer and ruling the monarchy. It is expected that further details will be unveiled soon.
