On August 11th, a media report about James, Earl of Wessex, a new and unexpected summer job driving tractors and “mucking in” at the royal property for recent months took Norfolk estate workers by surprise for his dedication.
“Everyone is so used to only seeing James smartly turned out with his family at functions at Christmas and Easter, so I had to do a double take,” said an employee to The Sun.
“He might be the king’s nephew, but he is more than happy to get his hands dirty and muck in.”
The son of Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, has made his uncle, King Charles, proud for sharing his love for the countryside as the source said the monarch “couldn’t be prouder knowing the younger royals share his love.”
