One of the most exciting things about the South Korean Music program circuits is the surprise factor. Several idols made their awaited comebacks and were promoted on shows, and sometimes some songs just become huge hits inside the country. This time, Kep1er had the privilege of being one of them.
On June 12, a new episode of “Show Champion” was broadcast. The fans were in great spirits to see their favorite idols perform and see who was going to snatch this week’s crown. Fortunately, Kep1er had a memorable moment during the show with their new song, “Shooting Star.”
Almost at the end of the show, the hosts took over the stage to announce the top 5 nominees for the “Champion Song” of this week. ATEEZ’s “Work,” aespa’s “Armageddon,” WayV’s “Give Me That,” NewJeans’ “How Sweet,” and Kep1er’s “Shooting” were the contestants.
Ultimately, Kep1er was announced as the winner of this week’s show for their song, “Shooting Start.” This was the first win for the title track and their 5th win since their debut. Congratulations to the group for this incredible achievement!
