Through a recent statement, KATSEYE announce Sophia will miss the Hinterland Music Festival due to illness, while the rest of the members will perform as planned.
On July 29th, they updated their Weverse account with a new message from their community manager announcing that the leader will be absent from the girls’ next festival performance to focus on her health amid illness.
“We’re sorry to share that due to illness, Sophia will not be able to perform at the Hinterland Music Festival on Thursday, July 30. She is resting and focusing on her recovery.”

The message concluded, confirming that despite this sad news, the rest of the members, “Daniela, Lara, Megan and Yoonchae, will perform at the festival as scheduled,” and added, “Thank you for your understanding and for supporting Sophia and KATSEYE.”
