During last night’s award ceremony, KATSEYE gave a shout-out to BTS after winning ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2026 AMAs, moving all fans with their words of admiration.
On May 25th, the girl group attended the 52nd American Music Awards, where they were also nominated in three categories, of which they all won ‘Best New Artist,’ ‘Breakthrough Pop Artist,’ and ‘Best Music Video.’
When the leader of KATSEYE, Sophia, was giving their thank you speech for their first win of the night, she swapped from English and Filipino, expressing her gratitude toward her fandom’s support and suddenly making a special mention of BTS’ inspiration.
