SEVENTEEN member Joshua will deliver a speech at a youth event hosted by UNESCO on Wednesday, June 25, 2026, according to an announcement from Pledis Entertainment. The event will take place at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, and its goal is to promote “Going Together For Youth Creativity and Well-being.” This marks a global support initiative developed through the partnership between SEVENTEEN and the international organization, which will be represented by Joshua. The KPop artist will appear before an audience focused on youth development and empowerment.

SEVENTEEN was appointed as UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassadors in 2024 and has remained active in projects supporting young people around the world. The 13-member group donated one million dollars to help fund a global youth grant program connected to the initiative. In May 2026, the members also contributed an undisclosed financial amount to support underprivileged middle school students in Laos as part of marking their 11th anniversary as a group.

Alongside their charitable efforts, SEVENTEEN still has a packed agenda on the music front. The boy group is preparing to meet fans through “Seventeen in Carat Land,” which will take place in Incheon on Saturday, 20, and Sunday, 21, 2026. With Joshua’s speech also lined up, the group highlights their responsibility to encourage creativity, well-being, and opportunities for the younger generation.
