It is known that because of the strikes that have happened in Hollywood many of the productions ended up postponing or even canceling, and is that support the entire industry for 4 months is a great challenge that managed to overcome and of course Dune 2 endured and is already assured the third, unless it is a big failure on screen, but it is doubtful that it will be.
Dune 2 will last less than expected

It was reported for a while that the cut of Dune: Part Two was around three and a half hours long, and that the company was already pressuring Villeneuve to have the edit completed. According to the GavinCinema account (by Discussing Film), the sequel will run 2 hours and 46 minutes, which would leave it at a similar length to Part One.
Dune: Part Two will hit theaters on March 1 and the synopsis is as follows:
