A few hours ago, BTS‘ V responded publicly to his fellow soldier’s videos about their time in the military, moving fans by defending his colleague, demonstrating he agrees with sharing these stories.
In recent days, one of his fellow military colleagues, the bodybuilder Kim Gi-tae, updated his Instagram account with new videos talking about his own experience in the army, where he met the singer, which he described as a “kind and positive person who always led things in a good direction.”

In response, the BTS member left comments praising his memory for remembering these stories after almost a year of their military release: “Gi-tae, it’s been a while. Your memory is incredible,” and “Hey, why don’t you spread the word more? It’s fun. I don’t even remember.”
On social networks, these videos that expose part of the military life of the idol were received with mixed comments among fans who support them and want to listen more but also those who worry and criticize him for sharing these stories that are not just his.
In response, V expresses his true support to his fellow colleague, pointing out the different reactions these videos have generated but assuring that “Anyway, I had so much fun” and continuing to share with him a lesson that will help him to face the negative reactions:
“I think in life, even if you do something with good intentions, it gets received differently because everyone has a different perspective. I hope you don’t let every single one of those opinions get to you.”
The idol even said that due to the way he shared the stories, through many short videos, it is understandable that people misunderstand his intentions, but “No matter what anyone says, you were the biggest ace in our platoon, and I really enjoyed the time I spent in the military with you.”
The BTS member expressed his worries about him having a hard time due to the negative reactions and concluded by sharing good wishes: “I’m always cheering for you. I don’t remember what your dream was, but since you have a great body, you must be a bodybuilder, right? Good luck!”
