Since BTS released their fifth full album, “ARIRANG,” the charts have never been the same. The title track of the musical project has received great momentum worldwide, and it is still the top track on different Billboard charts.
On May 19, according to the latest chart release by Billboard for the week dated May 23, BTS’ title track “SWIM” from the group’s fifth full-length album ARIRANG held onto the top spot on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for a second consecutive week.
The idols have now claimed No.1 on the charts six times this year, surpassing Taylor Swift’s record for the most chart-toppers. It is expected that the idols saw a resurgence in chart popularity while BTS is carrying out the North American leg of its BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG.’
Congratulations to BTS on another amazing milestone, adding to their rising legacy as the idols recently made history as the first Korean act to headline a concert at Stanford Stadium, and soon to be co-headliners for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final.
