BTS make history yet again with another groundbreaking achievement
BTS has secured a spot on Billboard’s prestigious list of the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century, coming in at number 19. The list comes with the media outlet being one of the most important for music and arts in the United States, making BTS a breakthrough act in the entertainment industry. This time, the group has been recognized for their meteoric rise and the community they’ve built through their messages of love, positivity, and connection.
In addition, Billboard highlighted BTS’ extraordinary accomplishments, including six Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits and six Billboard 200 number-one albums. Through a discussion in a podcast regarding the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century, the hosts said BTS’ influence goes beyond just K-pop, as they’ve transcended genres and created a global fanbase that continues to grow with each new release.
BTS has paved the way for both K-pop and groups, becoming a memorable act in South Korea and the United States. Despite most of the members being in the military, they have managed to start solo careers and transition into both interesting solo acts inside a massive group.
