A chart reign for the BTS member

BTS’s Jungkook is out here rewriting the rules of global pop domination! His solo debut track “Seven,” released in 2023, is still living its best life on the Billboard charts. On the chart dated November 22, 2025, it landed at No. 163 on the Global 200, marking an iconic 121 weeks on the list. That feat makes it the first and longest-running record for any Asian solo artist.

Over on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, the song placed at No. 94 and extended its streak to a strong 122 consecutive weeks on the tally. When you combine all his releases, Jungkook has now stacked up 256 weeks on the Global 200 and 305 weeks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Talk about king behavior on the charts! Spotify crowns Jungkook, too

The chart achievements don’t stop at Billboard! On Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart, “Seven” has stayed for 123 weeks, the longest run ever for an Asian soloist. The song is still having massive streams like it just dropped, surpassing 2.665 billion total plays. To make the moment even sweeter, “Seven” spent nine straight weeks at No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and seven consecutive weeks atop the Global 200. With this, Jungkook held both No. 1 spots simultaneously for seven weeks, something no other Asian act has done before.

Jungkook has surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify so far in 2025, his third year achieving this.

A historic debut and year-end dominance

“Seven” kicked the Billboard Hot 100 door down, debuting at No. 1 and staying there for 15 weeks. Adding to the success, the song entered the UK Official Chart at No. 3, the highest any K-pop soloist has ever debuted, and held its place in the Top 100 for 14 weeks. Jungkook also became the only solo artist in 2024 to send three tracks, “Seven,” “3D,” and “Standing Next to You,” to the top of both global Billboard charts.
